Officials in Cape May County say there are approximately 400 people at area shelters within the county limits.
As the storm approaches the area, officials with the county's Office of Emergency Management continue to encourage residents to take shelter.
In Ocean City, Sea Isle City and Strathmere, residents are being directed to the Upper Township Middle School at 525 Perry Road in the Petersburg section of Upper Township and to the Upper Township Elementary School at 50 Old Tuckahoe Road in Maramora.
Residents in Wildwood, Wildwood Crest, North Wildwood, West Wildwood, Cape May, West Cape May and Cape May Point are being sheltered at the Woodbine Developmental Center at 1175 DeHirsh Road in Woodbine.

In Lower Township at 409 Breakwater Road in the Tomwar Building in the Cape May County Airport Complex. You can call 609-886-1619 for directions.
