Newark Police have arrested a man and charged him with his 7th DUI offense.
On October 26, a patrol officer noticed a man walking around a Home Depot parking lot and peering into various vehicles. The suspect eventually entered a van and began to drive through the lot.
The officer initiated a stop and the suspect, 43-year old John A. Boulden, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. He was also found with an open can of beer.
Boulden has six prior convictions for DUI. He was also wanted for a probation violation.
