Peco says 22,000 customers were without power Sunday evening, 15,000 of them in Bucks County and 5,000 in Montgomery County. FirstEnergy reports 21,732 customers without electric service and PPL says 15,532 customers are still without power.
State officials said Friday that 250 to 300 polling places were without power with the general election only a few days away, and utilities have been asked to make polling places a priority after customers such as hospitals and nursing homes.
