Philadelphia Police are investigating a Sunday evening shooting that resulted in the death of a 17-year-old boy.
The shooting happened shortly after 5 p.m. on the 700 block of West Jefferson Street in North Philadelphia.
Police say the teenager was shot once in the right torso. He was rushed to Hahnemann University Hospital where police say he was pronounced dead shortly after.
As of Sunday night, police say they had not made any arrests.
