Fox News: Senator Casey Wins Reelection In Pa.

Posted: Updated:

FOX News projects Democratic Sen. Bob Casey of Pennsylvania will win reelection to a second term.

Casey was challenged by Republican businessman Tom Smith.

The son of the late former Gov. Robert P. Casey and a former state auditor general and treasurer, this would be Casey's second six-year term.

The 52-year-old Scranton resident and ally of organized labor is endorsed by nearly every newspaper editorial board in Pennsylvania.

With 25 percent of precincts reporting, Casey leads with 611,314 votes, good for 65 percent, to Smith's 318,138 votes, or 34 percent.
