ARAPAHOE COUNTY, CO -

Police in Colorado are searching for the thief who was captured on surveillance cameras throwing a rock through the window of a pet store and then stuffing three puppies into a bag.

The entire incident happened in a matter of seconds at the Aquatic Dogs pet store in Arapahoe County, outside of Denver.

The owners say a female Yorkshire Terrier and two female "Buggs," a cross between a Boston Terrier and a Pug, were stolen.

The owners say while the three puppies are worth more than $2,000, they're more concerned for their safety and well being.

The owners believe surveillance video from earlier in the week shows the thief and another man casing the store.
