Philadelphia Police have confirmed to FOX 29's Dave Schratwieser that a former high ranking police official was arrested in connection to a luring case in Roxborough.

According to police, the former police official was arrested on unlawful restraint, luring, terroristic threats and harassment charges in connection with the October 17th incident involving an 8-year-old girl in Roxborough.

Dave Schratwieser filed a report on that incident which had residents and parents on edge in the tightly-knit community.

The girl was playing in the front yard of her house on the 7000 of Voight Street when a man got out of a dark SUV and grabbed her arm. She pulled away and he said, "if you go inside I'm going to kill you."

The little girl told police the man had gray hair and a droopy eye. He was wearing an orange jumpsuit. She also gave investigators a partial license plate number.
