TAYLOR, Mich. (WJBK) -- An armed man up to no good is caught on camera in Taylor.

Surveillance video handed to FOX 2 was taken at the Golf Lakes Estates community along Northline Road. The suspect is seen carrying a handgun and a crowbar.

The victimized homeowner tells us the man broke into his house while he and his family were home asleep. "We have two kids, middle school age," said Ty Metzger. "So, yeah, it's scary for all of us."

This is the second time their house has been broken into in just the past month.

The most recent theft happened around Nov. 2. The thief made off with cash, a watch and a pair on sunglasses.

Anyone with information is asked to call Taylor police.
