Posted: Updated:

State Police are investigating an accident when a car drove into an occupied home in Felton, Delaware.

Police say the accident happened just after 11am Saturday on the 7400 block of South DuPont Highway. The vehicle, driven by Carlot Stinvil, 22 of Dover, exited the highway and hit a mailbox and then went across two driveways before going through a yard. While in the yard, it hit a dirt berm which cause the vehicle driven by Stinvil to go airborne and drive across a parked vehicle in a driveway before crashing into a house.

There were three people in the house. One of the occupants, a 55 year old woman, was transported to Kent General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Stinvil was also transported with non-life threatening injuries. He was cited to Inattentive Driving, Driving without a Valid License, and No Proof of Insurance.

The home was condemned due to damage sustained in the accident after being inspected by authorities.
