Lisa Brown is a register dietitian who has not one but five tips that she says will instantly turn you into a savvy shopper!
Tip #1: Ingredients matter-not just which ones, but how many.
Tip #2: We want the good stuff, not the fillers: avoid additional non-nutritive ingredients.
Tip #3: Don't believe the hype! Use common sense. Just because the packaging says it's healthy, doesn't mean it's true.
Tip #4: Convenience can still equal quality.
Tip #5: Look at serving sizes.
