Police say a 26-year-old man sexually abused and molested a 14-year-old girl in November and December of 2011.
The suspect, Chad Lee Roser, is accused of performing sex acts with his former roommate's daughter. The girl told police Roser was a friend and co-worker of her mother's.
The girl told police she spent a lot of time with Roser and he talked to her about her sexuality. When he found out she was a virgin, he told her he wanted to be her first sexual partner. Roser and the girl allegedly agreed to have sex and she snuck into his room while her mother was asleep.
Officers found evidence supporting the girl's story through a Facebook account she and Roser used to communicate with secretly.
According to messages on the Facebook account, a second sexual encounter occurred on Dec. 28, 2011. The girl said she messaged Roser on her secret Facebook account and told him she was in town visiting her grandmother.
Police say Roser asked the girl to send a naked photograph to his e-mail address and she did. The photograph wasn't found on Roser's e-mail but was still on the girl's cell phone.
The girl told police Roser drove her to an apartment parking lot in Scottsdale and they had sex in his sport utility vehicle.
Roser told her to delete their messages or he could get in trouble because of how young she is.
Chandler police were told about the alleged molestation in January 2012. The girl's father apparently discovered the Facebook messages and notified police.
Officers found the man Roser sold his SUV to and its backseat matched the description the girl gave police.
Police arrested Roser on Tuesday. He denied the girl's accusations.
Roser told FOX 10 during a jailhouse interview: "It's an outrage. I did not ever touch any young girl at all ever." He also denies living with the girl and her mother at the time these incidents allegedly occurred.
Roser faces charges of molestation, sexual conduct with a minor, sexual abuse, sexual exploitation of a minor and luring a minor for sexual exploitation.
