SAN TAN VALLEY, Ariz. -

The Pinal County Sheriff's Office says they have arrested two people in connection with a number of home burglaries in the past few months.

Credit cards, cameras, video games, computers, checkbooks, cell phones, prescription meds, jewelry and other items were some of the items taken during these burglaries.

Deputies investigating the burglaries developed a description of the suspects and possible suspect vehicle.

In the past few weeks the suspects used the victims' credit cards at area gas stations and stores. Deputies were able to gather surveillance video of the two suspects and their license plate.

Tuesday, PCSO served a search warrant on the San Tan Valley home of 28-year-old Kimberly Padilla and 25-year-old Joshua Romero. The suspects were at home at the time.

Inside the home, PCSO says they found $5,000 in stolen property.

Padilla and Romero were taken into custody and refused to answer questions.

They were booked into the Pinal County Adult Detention Center on charges of burglary, possession of stolen property, theft, fraudulent use of a credit card, and possession of prescription medication.
