WALLED LAKE, Mich. (WJBK) -- The City of Walled Lake has issued a boil water advisory for residents of certain streets because of a problem with a water main on Leon Road.
People living on the following roads should boil water that will be used for drinking or cooking: East Walled Lake Drive, Arvida Street, Bluffton, Cheriton Street, Leeds, Leon Road and Welfare Boulevard, as well as residents of the East Bay Village condos living on Sandy Lane, Old Pine Way, Riveria Court, East Bay Drive, Village Drive, Boardwalk, Clubhouse Circle, Red Oak Court and Pointe Drive.
Before using water, the city says boil it for one minute and allow it to cool. You could also use bottled water instead.
For more information, call (248) 624-4847. You can also check the City of Walled Lake's website at www.walledlake.com for updates.
