An activist group called "Stop the Trauma on People" gathered to paint another cross to represent the most recent murder victim in Camden Monday.
Organizers say they plant the crosses for the living.
Camden reached its 59th homicide of the year last week.
Last week, a city councilman wanted the nearly five dozen crosses removed, saying they create a negative image about the city.
The crosses, however, have been allowed to stay.
The westbound lanes of the Atlantic City Expressway were closed for several hours on Sunday after a single vehicle accident sent several people to the hospital.
