DETROIT (WJBK) -- Detroit Police say an argument led to a bag of unknown powder being thrown on a DDOT bus Monday afternoon.

It happened at Woodmont and Warren on the city's west side.

Police say the man who tossed the powder was wearing a mask and ran off the bus.  The driver and four passengers were quarantined while police investigated.  The driver and two others were transported to a local hospital.  Their conditions are unknown at this time.

The man and the driver were arguing prior to the power being thrown, according to police.

We're told the substance is still being analyzed.  Meanwhile, police are searching for the person responsible.
