Alto Reed, Mitch Ryder to headline 'Rock for Jobs' concert

DETROIT (WJBK) -- Goodwill is teaming up with the Detroit Lions, WOMC and legendary saxophone player Alto Reed to help the unemployed in Michigan.
The Rock for Jobs concert takes place Friday, Nov. 23 at the Fillmore Detroit. All proceeds will support Goodwill Industries of Greater Detroit programs that help unemployed Metro Detroiters earn jobs.
The concert includes a performance by Reed's AllStars with special guests rock n' roll icon Mitch Ryder and former Grand Funk Railroad frontman Mark Farner. Local rock band The Electric Playground will also perform. 104.3 WOMC on-air personality, Jim "JJ" Johnson will serve as the event emcee.
