Surveillance Video: Man Slashes Face Of Woman, $12,500 Reward Offered

Philadelphia police are looking for the man they say slashed a woman's face and then stole her purse.
The incident happened on the 700 block of South 9th Street on November 11 at 4:05am.
The offender approached the 23-year old woman from behind and struck her face, causing a large laceration which required 110 stitches. The suspect then stole the woman's purse. He fled on foot towards Fitzwater Street.
The purse was located a short time later in a nearby alley.
A $12,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the culprit.
The suspects description is as follows: White male, thin build, wearing a white hooded sweatshirt with an emblem on left side of hood, black pants and dark colored shoes.
