Arizona gasoline prices fall for 4th week in a row
PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona motorists are paying less at the pump again heading into the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
Officials with AAA Arizona said Wednesday that the average statewide price for unleaded regular gasoline is $3.44 a gallon. That's down by almost 7 cents from last week and marks the fourth consecutive week of falling prices.
AAA officials say the state fuel average has shed 25 cents over the last month.
This week's national average is $3.42 per gallon, a decrease of nearly 2 cents from last week.
Tucson has the lowest average gasoline price in Arizona at $3.21 a gallon while Flagstaff has the highest at $3.74.
Missouri has the lowest average gas prices in the continental U.S. at $3.13 a gallon with New York having the highest at $3.92 a gallon.
