Philly Police Officer Injured In Car Accident

A Philadelphia Police officer is in stable condition after being involved in a car accident at the intersection of 84th and Lindbergh in southwest Philadelphia.

Police say the accident happened as the officer was responding to a call.

The police car was traveling westbound on 84th Street when the officer approached the intersection, slowed down and proceeded to go through.

Police say that's when the officer's car was struck.

It's not clear if the other driver was injured.
