Most turkeys around this time of year might think it best to lay low, but one turkey in Wisconsin seems to be doing the opposite.

No one is really sure where the rather outgoing turkey in the Milwaukee area came from but residents there do know that he gets around.

Residents say the turkey is outgoing and he's been seen following people, chirping at them and was once even spotted trying to get inside of a school.

Turkeys usually can be heard gobbling, but residents say this one makes chirping sounds.

Animal experts say it's unusual for a turkey to be so outgoing. The wildlife manager at the Wisconsin Humane Society says it's possible the turkey started "imprinting" with humans, or identifying more with people, as a hatchling.

The turkey has been the talk of the area this fall.
