Give to A Good Cause this Holiday Season with the FOX 29 Family Focus Tree of Giving

All year long FOX 29 viewers answer the call to support a good cause or organization.  Whether you're walking to raise awareness and funds, or donating school supplies, clothing or money to help those less fortunate in our viewing area, you always support FOX 29 and our partners.

During this Season of Giving, many of our viewers are looking for ways to give back to the local community, whether it's volunteering their time or donating money.  The FOX 29 Family Focus Tree of Giving can get you started.

Check out the very worthwhile organizations below.  Many are organizations FOX 29 partners up with for different activities throughout the year.  Others are organizations or groups you see on "Good Day" or the FOX 29 News, but all are doing great things in the community.

Every fall, FOX 29 teams up with The Alzheimer's Association for the Walk to End Alzheimer's Events.  The Alzheimer's Association's mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health. It is the leading, global voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care and support, and the largest private, nonprofit funder of Alzheimer's research.

This fall, FOX 29 teamed up with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society for the "Light the Night" Walk on the Ben Franklin Parkway in Philadelphia.  The mission of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer.

Every fall, Good Salutes the Military, and one of our partners for this annual event is the USO.  The USO's mission is to lift the spirits of America's troops and their families. Through the USO, those who donate can touch their lives through an extensive range of programs at more than 160 locations in 27 states and 14 countries, and at hundreds of entertainment events each year.
