Jackson Jr. replacement, Gwen Stefani's marriage: Chat Room

Posted: Updated:
CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

On Thursday's Chat Room consultant Rochelle Trotter and FOX 32 News Good Day anchor Dawn Hasbrouck chatted about congressmen and cheating.

Former congressman Mel Reynolds has thrown his name in the race to replace embattled Congressman Jesse Jackson Jr. who is stepping down amid rumors of campaign fund fraud and potential sex scandal.

Ironically, it was Jackson who replaced Reynolds in a special election 17-years-ago after Reynolds was convicted of sex with a minor and also campaign fund misuse.

Rochelle does not think he deserves another chance. His past performance clearly shows what we should expect from him. His redemption is between him and his higher power but he should not be redeemed at the expense of the citizens of the 2nd District.

Next the women discussed the rumors of possible cheating by Gavin Rossdale, the husband of Gwen Stefani. Photos were released of Rossdale hiking with his kids and a woman presumed his nanny, with his hand, according to Dawn, "some say on her (nanny) lower back, some say on her butt." Is this innocent or not?

Rochelle thinks that while the photo can be interpreted innocently- as she was walking uphill, it's pretty clear that he is "comfortable" with her on an intimate level. When a young sexy nanny is brought into the home it's not surprising these sort of things happen. So Dawn wonders what kind of nanny would Rochelle hire? Rochelle emphatically stated "a bush woman."

End note: tabloids now report (post show) that the woman is Gavin's sister. So that explains his comfort with touching her -- but Rochelle remains firm on not hiring a sexy nanny if she had a baby.
