Lehigh County Officials Investigate Death Of 5-Year-Old

LEHIGH COUNTY, PA -

Officials in Lehigh County are investigating the death of a five-year-old who died early Friday morning.

According to the Lehigh County Coroner's Office, the five-year-old was found unresponsive and not breathing around 9 p.m. Thursday night inside of his home on the 100 block of N,. 12th Street in Allentown.

Investigators say the boy's mother called emergency responders.

The child was rushed to St. Luke's Hospital in Allentown and was later transferred to Lehigh Valley Hospital, where he died.

The cause of death is now under investigation.
