PHOENIX -
The German culture might have been the first to celebrate the holidays with their Christmas market in downtown Phoenix.
The Christkindlmarkt has 30 vendors, a stage for entertainment, a children's village, they'll be cooking bratwurst and other German favorites and you can even learn to speak German.
All of it raises money for a good cause too.
The Arizona Center for Germanic Cultures is saving money from the market to build a cultural center for the German speaking community.
The German Christmas market will remain open Saturday only until 8 p.m. in Heritage Square.
