First AZ medical marijuana dispensary opens - Philadelphia News, Weather and Sports from WTXF FOX 29

More than two years after being approved by voters, the first legal medical marijuana dispensary in Arizona is now open for business.

Patients and caregivers showed up to pre-register for distribution at Southern Arizona Integrated Therapies on Sunday.

An armed guard was on hand, checking anyone who went into the doctor's office-style dispensary.

No marijuana will actually be dispensed until later this month.
