Police believe Detroit teen responsible for string of home invasions

DETROIT (WJBK) -- Police believe a 17-year-old is responsible for a string of home invasions on the city's east side.
Donte Browning was charged this week with four home invasions and police believe he may be responsible for as many as four others
Police say Browning was caught after he left a key piece of evidence at a crime scene. Since the case is still open, police won't release the blunder, but they're taking full advantage of it.
Police say help from neighbors also helped bring Browning to justice.

Latoiya Mitchell-Thomas has been found not guilty of attempted murder and assault in the Detroit Princess shooting last August. She was convicted of a concealed weapons charge.
