Police are looking for the person who robbed a Montgomery County supermarket with a fake bomb.

It happened shortly before midnight the Giant Food Store on DeKalb Pike in Blue Bell.

Police say the suspect told a cashier he had a bomb strapped to him. He demanded money and then ran out of the store with the cash.

The bomb squad found a device at the supermarket, but it was not an explosive.

The suspect is described as white male, wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and sneakers.

Thursday weather looks damp and stormy.  It will be mild and muggy to start with spotty showers early followed by afternoon and evening storms.  Highs in the upper 70s with winds out of the SW 5-10 mph. Some of the storms will produce locally heavy rain and gusty winds.

This system is from the same cold front that caused the midwest tornadoes. It will also usher in cooler air for the holiday weekend.
