PAULSBORO, N.J. -

Barges carrying equipment to remove what's left of Friday's morning's train derailment in Paulsboro made their way to the site Wednesday morning.

SkyFOX flew over the scene as the barges made their way along Mantua Creek.

FOX 29 cameras also captured some new activity at the derailment site Wednesday, as inspectors arrived wearing what appeared to be breathing apparatus.

After spending a few minutes at the scene, they returned to the shore.

Emergency officials have scheduled a 6:30 p.m. information meeting for residents at Nehaunsey Middle School in Gibbstown.

Currently, more than 600 people have been forced out of their homes as a result of the leak of vinyl chloride.

On Tuesday, emergency officials extended the evacuation order until Sunday.

Paulsboro schools are also closed through at least Friday.

FOX 29's Shawnette Wilson is attending the meeting and will have a live report on FOX 29 News at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
