So many people lost so much during Hurricane Sandy, but one Toms River, New Jersey man says he absolutely has nothing left - not even the rubble from his home.
Nick Maria tells FOX he couldn't find his house after the storm.
The home, which served as a summer home for Maria, once stood on 5th Avenue in Ortley Beach.
A few weeks ago, Maria says the home suddenly vanished.
Two week after Sandy, residents were allowed to return to gather their belongings. But when Maria arrived, his home, and everything inside, was gone
All that was left was a plot of land.
"I never saw anything like this in my life. And when I took my wife here a week later, she was crying her eyes out in the street," Maria said.
Maria says he immediately started making phone calls, but the township didn't have much information.
A picture taken by a neighbor of the home after the storm showed that while it had shifted off of its foundation, it was still standing.

Mostly cloudy skies tonight with patchy drizzle/fog for some overnight.
Another mild day tomorrow. Highs in the low 60s.
Unsettled weather arrives Thursday night & Friday with our next cold front. With the blast of cold air that follows, we'll probably have a dry day on Saturday, and the chance of a Sunday wintry mix into the afternoon and evening. Stay tuned!
