We are searching for a highly-organized Assignment Editor who has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Must be capable of handling large volumes of emails, faxes, and telephone calls. Must be able to monitor breaking news and respond quickly and think logistically. Must be able to develop unique and interesting story ideas and get the day started out as outlined by the executive producer, planning editor, and news coordinator. 1-3 years as a television news Assignment Editor or related positions in a large to medium sized market is required.
