Sixers Forward Hosts Shopping Spree For Children Of Deployed Soldiers

PHILADELPHIA -

Philadelphia 76ers forward Spencer Hawes hosted a shopping spree Sunday for 30 children of recently deployed soldiers from the 157th Combat Service Support Battalion.

Hawes walked around the Target on Monument Road in Philadelphia Sunday with the kids, who each were given $300 to spend.

The children were then given a pizza party after their shopping spree.

The 157th Combat Service Support Battalion is based out of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania.
