Celebrity gossip columnist Rob Schuter got inside the White House for a holiday party over the weekend.

And, according to Schuter, everyone was asking one question: should Psy, the South Korean singer and Internet sensastion, be banned from performing in the U.S. after an anti-American song he performed at concerts in 2002 and 2004 surfaced in recent days.

"(It's) the talk of the town, if not the talk of the nation. These lyrics are extreme," said Schuter.

Psy, dressed in an all-red outfit, performed during the Christmas in Washington concert over the weekend with President Barack Obama in attendance.

During the 2002 performance, Psy smashes a toy American tank on the ground while singing 'Killer. ' The lyrics included"Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law, and fathers. Kill them all slowly and painfully."" reported the NY Post.

The rapper, born Park Jae-sang, had apologized Friday for using what he called "inflammatory and inappropriate language."  The flak from his remarks didn't dampen the festive holiday mood Sunday.

The concert from Washington is expected to air Dec. 21 on TNT.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
