PHILADELPHIA -
President Barack Obama took time out from his busy schedule to get into the holiday spirit over the weekend.
The president, Mrs. Obama and their daughters, Sasha and Malia attended the taping of the television special "Christmas in Washington" on Sunday night.
The event was held at the National Building Museum. It was hosted by talk show host Conan O'Brien and featured performances by Diana Ross.
Obama spoke at the event, talking about how important Christmas is to children.
But what had people talking Monday morning was that "Gangnam Style" rapper Psy was allowed to perform at the event.
Psy is under fire for a video that shows him smashing a model American tank live on stage in 2002.
Psy is also being criticized for a 2004 performance during which he sang a song that talked about killing American soldiers.
Psy released an apology for his actions ahead of Sunday's concert.
He called it a "deeply emotional reaction to the war in Iraq … that was part of the overall antiwar sentiment shared by others around the world at that time."
We asked "Good Day's" Facebook friends Monday morning if they think this is the end of "Gangnam" mania?
One user named Peaceful Livin said, "The president has folks whose job it is to keep him updated on such pertinent information and the ball was truly dropped on this one."
Another named Dorothy said, "The derogatory statements he made about our soldiers and their families were heinous. Do not support him and his music in any way!"
