HARRISBURG, Pa. -

The free-toll policy for Pennsylvania Turnpike workers is costing the state more than $7 million dollars. That's according to state Auditor General Jack Wagner.

Turnpike employees are allowed to drive on the toll road for free when they are not working.

Wagner wants to stop this policy. He plans to issue a report on the subject later this month.

A turnpike spokesman says Wagner's report will be reviewed.
