PHILADELPHIA -

Investigators have ruled the cause of a four-alarm fire that tore through a South Second Street warehouse Monday to be due to electrical wiring.

Philadelphia Fire Commissioner Lloyd Ayers announced the cause as "Electrical Wiring Permanent" in a news release Tuesday afternoon.

The fire marshal says the fire, which sparked at 2:14 p.m. Monday, originated at or near the rear of the warehouse, which doubles as an auto shop and a storage facility used by the Fralinger String Band.

The fire was declared under control about two-and-a-half hours after it began.

One person, an elderly woman, was injured as a result of the fire an taken to a nearby hospital.
