Researchers: Your Smartphone Can Help You Lose Weight

Researchers from Northwestern University say your smartphone might be able to do more than just surf the web or make a phone call.

The Northwestern University study found people who used phone apps to track their diet and exercise habits lost more weight than those who didn't.

On average, people using smartphone applications lost about eight pounds more than their non-technology using peers, the study said.
