Car Fire Slows Traffic On I-95 Near Cottman Avenue

Firefighters made quick work of a car fire that slowed traffic on the northbound side of Interstate 95 late Wednesday morning.

All lanes of travel are now getting past the scene of the car fire near Exit 30, between Cottman Avenue and Rhawn Street.

The fire was reported around 10:33 a.m., and at least two lanes as well as an exit ramp were initially blocked.

Firefighters had most of the flames knocked down by 11 a.m.
