PAULSBORO, N.J. -

A crew continued its work to remove derailed train cars in Paulsboro from both the Jefferson Street Bridge and Mantua Creek Wednesday.

Once the cars are removed, officials plan to work around the clock to fix the damaged train tracks.

On Tuesday, FOX 29 cameras captured a large crane as it began to remove derailed cars from the tracks and the creek.

For Paulsboro residents, things are slowly getting back to normal several days after a train derailed, leaking vinyl chloride.

Most residents last week were allowed to return home while students have since returned to schools in the Paulsboro area that were closed as a result of the derailment.
