HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WJBK) -- Fox 2's Alexis Wiley caught up with a very special 6th grader.  Her name is Olivia Megge and she is celebrating her 12th birthday on 12-12-12.

"I've been thinking about it all year," says Olivia.

And she is not alone.  Many people have been planning all year for this special day.  Some decided to get married while others purchased a lottery ticket.  But how many can say they're turning 12 on 12-12-12?

Her parents say Olivia was born in the middle of a massive snowstorm and she's been a force to reckon with ever since. At just 12, the Harrison Township 6th grader is an accomplished gymnast often competing against girls much older than she is.

This year, Olivia is having two birthday parties -- one with friends over the weekend and, of course, another very special party on 12-12-12.

"I got the cake pop maker thing.  And then I got a lot of clothes," says Olivia.

And Fox 2 also joined in on the celebration by surprising Olivia with cupcakes.  A dozen, of course.

So here's to 12-12-12 and hopefully everyone's day is a as special as Olivia's.
