YOUNGSTOWN, OH -

A Youngstown, Ohio woman is breathing a huge sigh of relief after her 300-pound potbellied pig "Penelope" was returned to her safe and sound.

Wendy Thrasher says thieves stole her car with the three-year-old pig sitting right inside of it.

"I thought maybe the kids had borrowed it or something, when I realized kids were there and the car was gone, I panicked and called 911," Thrasher said.

Officers say they spotted the smashed up car on a nearby street and found the pig sitting quietly on the backseat.

Thrasher believes the pig may have scared the thieves and caused the accident.

It was a gloomy Sunday as the whole area remain socked in with low clouds & fog, drizzle and scattered showers.

The weather remains unsettled through most of the work week. The difference is that it will really warm up -- temperatures soar into the 80s by Tuesday.  That mild and humid air mass will fuel afternoon thunderstorms.

By Thursday a cold front moves by bringing more rain.  It will also bring drier and cooler weather by Friday as we finally clear out.
