It's going to be decades until we see the repetition of numbers in the month, day and year again, which is why one couple opted to celebrate the rare day by getting married.
Crystal Bookhart says she has waited 47-years for her wedding day. So, when she said yes, she knew exactly what date she wanted.
December 12 also happens to be her birthday.
Most people don't plan their big day on a Wednesday, but the groom, Maurice Miller, knew just how to keep his bride happy.
Will 12 prove to be the magic number for the new husband and wife?
The newlyweds say it already has but if nothing else, the husband is sure to never forget his anniversary.
