TEMPE, Ariz. -
A fatal crash on the Loop 101 southbound and Guadalupe closed down the freeway for the majoirty of Friday morning.
Police say three young adults were driving in a car when they were hit by an unknown vehicle.
The vehicle immediately left the scene but a witness says they saw a black SUV driving about 100 mph in the area.
Police say they're looking for a four-door 2007 Chevy Tahoe with 22" custom rims, a sun roof and a roof rack. There should be a lot of front end damage.
The back seat passenger was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver and front seat passenger have minor injuries.
Police say the driver and the deceased back seat passenger are twins.
The driver will be tested for impairment.
The area of Loop 101 southbound and Guadalupe was closed for about six hours.
