Tipping TVs cause injuries to kids every 45 minutes

Posted: Updated:

Every 45 minutes, or less than the length of a Sesame Street episode, a child visits the ER because of a TV tipping over, according to Safe Kids Worldwide.

The group recently looked into kid-TV related injuries.

Safe Kids found out three out of four parents admit their TV's are not secured to the wall because they didn't want to damage the wall.

Safe Kids recommends securing your TV to the wall and that the TV mount is a sturdy model.
