Police: Man Wielding Knife Robs South Jersey Convenience Store

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, N.J. -

Police in Gloucester Township are looking for a man captured on surveillance cameras wielding a knife and threatening to kill the clerk of a Pantry One Store.

The robbery happened Sunday night  at the Pantry One Store at Black Horse Pike and Station Avenue in the Glendora section.

Police say the man walked in with a knife and ordered the clerk to hand over money from the store's register and the lottery register.

Police say the suspect stabbed the counter twice as well as the register's scanner gun. Police say he also threatened to kill the clerk.

The man managed to get $1,000 in cash and took off, police said. He was last seen heading west on foot on Station Avenue.
