CAMDEN COUNTY, N.J. -

More than a thousand guns are now off the streets of Camden County after a countywide two-day gun buyback program.

Organizers call the gun buyback program record breaking.

The gun buyback program offered residents the opportunity to turn over guns and receive up to $250 in return without any questions asked.

The two-day program was carried out through several local law enforcement agencies, including Attorney General Jeffrey S. Chiesa's office, and faith-based community stakeholders.
