PHILADELPHIA -

Fans of the popular book "Fifty Shades of Grey" can see the story come to life in a parody show headed to Philadelphia in June 2013.

"Spank! The Fifty Shades Parody" will play the Perelman Theater for three nights in June.

The show is described as a "hilarious new musical that brings all the naughty fun of the best-selling book to life," on the Kimmel Center's official website.

The description on the Kimmel Center website makes note that the show is not associated with or authorized by the book's author, E.L. James or its publisher Vintage Press.

The show has received mixed reviews. One major newspaper called it "dazzlingly lousy."
