An anonymous group left a Fairfax, Va. waitress a 400 percent tip.
FAIRFAX, VA -
An anonymous group that goes around to restaurants and leaves large tips for the wait staff left a 400 percent tip for a waitress in Fairfax, Virginia.
The group calls the activity "tip bombing." They've apparently stopped by other restaurants, left the generous tips and then posted the video online.
The waitress in Fairfax received a $900 tip on a $208 lunch bill.
While the waitress didn't want to talk to a reporter on camera, her manager says she deserves the gift.
The group behind the so called "tip-bombing" says they hope they can inspire other people to leave large tips.
