Chilly weather puts people in the Christmas spirit

PHOENIX -

Maricopa County and much of southwestern Arizona is under a freeze warning overnight Thursday.

Temperatures are expected to dip into the low 30s -- even the 20s in some areas.

Add some cold weather, wind, and rain – and you have the makings for a merry Christmas.

Owner of the Mitchell's Christmas tree lot, Jayne Mitchell, says she's surprised of all the people buying trees late in the season. And she attributes that to the chilly weather.
