NEW YORK -

An outrageous and controversial chapter in reality television history is coming to an end as MTV's "Jersey Shore" airs its series finale Thursday night.

After having cameras follow them around for years, the show has changed the cast members' lives. Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino says it helped him get sober.

Meanwhile, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi is quite different from when we first met her – she's now a mom!

Overall, they've learned there are pros and cons to being famous. They have also learned how to turn reality fame and into full-time careers.

Fox's Ashley Dvorkin caught up with "Snooki," "The Situation" and the rest of the crew for a trip down memory lane.
