NJ Transit Warned Of Possible Flood Concerns

Posted: Updated:

A new report suggests New Jersey Transit should have been better prepared for flooding produced by Hurricane Sandy.

The company keeps many of its trains in Hoboken, which saw historic flooding after the storm.

Months before sandy, NJ Transit received a report, which it commissioned, that warned flooding was possible at its rail yards.

A spokesperson for NJ Transit says the report didn't offer specific predictions for flooding at the level caused by Sandy.
